Stupid people. Stupid people make me mad. I just saw a snake feeding video, and some moron said "Don't feed it mice thats not snake food buy snake food at da pet shop". Really? Mice aren't snake food? Gee, I didn't know that. If mice aren't snake food than maybe the next time I see a snake eating a mouse in the wild I should take it away, go to the pet shop, and buy "snake food", and give it to the snake instead.
Maybe she/he didn't pay attention in biology class.

That's what my local Petco did with their corn snakes for a while... apparently they do eat crickets, but only when VERY young, and it's not really a "preferred diet." But I don't think a BP would care for them, LOL. :rolleyes:

I don't know if they'd even notice the crickets xD maybe just get irritated when the bugs would start chewing on them....
But yeah, I can understand the sentiment. I have the same problem with idiots, especially when I'm sitting there with my boyfriend and one of his buddies pipes up that we better move the snakes out of the bedroom, or they'll get out in the night and strangle us...

Wow...I do wonder what kind of "snake food" he was refering to??? Like, if not mice, what would you buy to feed a snake (according to the stupid guy)? I mean, I'd bet if you went to a pet store and asked for "snake food" they'd at least point you to the FROZEN mice...All I can say I guess is that I hope they didn't listen to him...
