    Kingsnake question?
Ok, so my CA Kingsnake is really, REALLY nippy. He bites EVERYTHING. But when he bites he throws coils around the thing that he bites. So I'm assuming he's hungry. So, today I'm going to feed him 2 adult mice. And if this doesn't help him become more friendly I don't know what will.

Any advice in case this doesn't work? Also, I have a question ab out my Ball Python. I read that if you take them outside for 15 or more minutes a day of sunlight will have a huge benifit on them. Is this true?

    Thanks!

I'm kind of having the same problem with my new King as well, he doesn't bite at everything but he has had a penchant for striking at me since I got him. Granted, I've only had him 8 days today and have only held him when I first got home, when I fed him on Friday and then today.

Maybe you should try what I'm trying: hold him a little bit every other day, a couple of minutes at first and then increasing the amount of time with each time you hold him. You may possibly take a bite or two, but if that worries you, you can always wear gloves. I've never had to attempt this with any of my other snakes because they have been fine from the get go but I know that my guy isn't use to being held too much and some of my friends that are very experienced with snakes have suggested this route.
