Smallest pray I was able to find was a rat pup (got no mice fussies) - but he had no issues (although I know its a tad too big) :D :D

And yes, he has to learn to go head first :)

For some reason he always went away from the head all the times and bit the rat in the belly - but heh, as long as he manages it I don't care how he eats that :)

But after that massive rat (looking at the bulge lol) - he doesn't get anything FOR A WHILE - that is for sure ..

After about a year they pretty much grow completely out of it. My adult male JCP is puppy dog tame.
