Re: strange bulges or bumps
Could be fecal matter making its way out. Make sure she is hydrated and make sure she does not get oddly shaped. Check out this post for what an impacted blood looks like.

Re: strange bulges or bumps
nope none of the pix looked anything like what these bumps or bulges looked like kind of like something was trying to poke out just a lil ways from the vet and were about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch pushing the skin outwards wish i would of had my camera charged so i could of got a pix of them
to me looked kind of like a couple of her ribs were turned outward and trying to poke threw the skin but she aint been handled roughly or dropped so know that aint the cause of the strange bumps or bulges well unless snakes can twist there ribs in an outward position but pretty sure they can't
only reason i posted this is my son had a wild caught anole that got what looks like zits on and around it's vent (seen anoles get these in the past but were mainly in the mouth where insects bite them as they are being eaten.)
only thing i can think of is the prego mouse i feed her got mostly digested and then all the babies the prego mouse had in her belly spilled out into the snake before they were digested. and some of them before being digested made the couple strange bulges bumps
aint worried about her being compacted my girl loves her water bowl she lays in it at least 1 day a week well unless she has recently eaten a big meal then she lays in her hide on the warm end of the cage till her food is digested
Re: strange bulges or bumps
I have seen what you are talking about on my blood when she had not pooped for awhile, they were large hard bumps pressing out from the skin, the ones I saw were hard and surprisingly large as well... They are most likely chunks of urates and poo, they dissapeared because they just shifted inside your snakes bowels, give em a little message and you will feel them move and twist around, its just yer snakes backed up bowels thats all! Nothing to worry about, just give the snake a nice warm soak or two every week, they should come out on their own eventually.
