Umbilicalis Still Attached?

Hey Guys!
So I'm happy to report that my het ghost clutch (my first EVER!) seems to be okay. I am still wondering about the middle one because he hasn't peeked his head out yet. I just opened them up yesterday on day 58. As you can see by the picture one has made his lovely way out. However, hes still attached to his umbilicalis and is dragging it around. Is this normal? When does separate? Heres a pic with the one that I'm talking about and his sibilings.

Might put that guy in a deli cup with a lid and holes on some moist paper towels..

It happens but it's not ideal.. they really shouldn't come out till all the yolk and umbilicals is done

Ya it seems like this one was the eager beaver of the bunch. He was peeking his head out a lot last night and this morning roaming around.

When mine eggs were cut I placed them into another tub with damp towels and a water bowl(for extra humidity) and then they came out to a nice clean tub and nothing sticking to them.
Ideally they absorb before coming out, but if they don't I prefer they drag the sack around a clean tub and not in the incubating medium.

If this happens to you again, you might want to do the deli cup, you don't want them dragging their umbilicus / yolk sack around, this could cause injury and may lead to death.

the deli cup is so he has little room and won't be moving around as much, moist paper towels helps in not letting the cord dry out and reduces friction when the hatchling does move. some will add just a little water in the cup with no paper towels. he should lose it shortly, don
