Price on a 09 female spider?
There are two reptile shows coming up that will be close to where I am in the next month, and I'm hoping to find a yearling female spider. The thing is I don't know what a good or average price on one would be. The average price I've seen on female hatchlings is in the $225-250 range, and about $125-150 for males.
I know that the prices on snakes usually goes up with age, as they are closer to breeding age, etc. What would you consider a fair price for maybe 400-700gram spider female, and what would you consider an awesome price? Obviously what I pay will depend on who is selling and what is available at the shows. I just want an idea of what I could end up paying ahead of time. =)
I'm also not against a male, I do have multiple females, but I've been cautioned against ending up with too many males. So I think I'd like to stick to a girl, and if I get another male pick up a co-dom, like a bumblebee or something. =)
