Check out my new Cal King morph!
Hey everybody, I've been a long time reader of this fantastic message board but I'm a first time poster. I have been so excited about this snake I bought today that I HAD to join and share pictures of him. He's a Hypo Lavender Albino Ruby Eyed Cal King. I'll get some better pics of him once he sheds and settles into his new home.

He's beautiful! Isn't the pattern described as mosaic pattern?

I'm not sure to be honest, all I know is he is gorgeous! I've been checking him out at a local pet store for the past couple of weeks, debating whether to get him or not and today (after going there the last 3 days straight and staring at him lol) I broke down and bought him.

Snakes are so addictive! This is my fourth one I've bought in a year!

I've got new pics of Vlad coming soon, he looks SO amazing since he shed.

He's quite bitey so I've been working with him slowly, trying to break him of this. Friday, feeding day, he struck at me twice but didn't get me. Today there was no striking but his tail was fluttering like crazy and he scented me with his lovely musk (lol). After a minute or so he calmed down and was ok. I only held him for a about 5-7 mins because I didn't want to overwhelm him. I figure if I work with him like this every other day, it shouldn't be long before he's eating out of my hand so to speak
