Hey guys, I'm headed up to Daytona for the show. I want to pick up a breeder female axanthic. Which line do you like the best and What do you think is a fair/avg price for one? And for the curious minds, my ultimate goal is to produce an axanthic killer bee

Price I don't know, I traded a 1250gram female pastel for this SK line female axanthic.
I love a stand alone axanthic, but when you add a high yellow something something into the mix, only then their true potential show through. Sorta like a diamond in the rough;)

I'll be surprised if you can leave the show with a breeder axanthic female of any line for less than $1k (Honestly, I'll be surprised if you find any decent ones for sale. Breeder recessive females like that don't pop up for sale often). However, you could probably get a 2010 female at the show for around $500-$700. I prefer VPI axanthic. They seem to hold their silver best as they age, and brown out the least. However, lower quality individuals can brown out, so it's important to check out pics of the parents if possible before buying a neonate.
