    Adult Balls Feeding Schedule
I hear people say that when their ball reaches full size they still use the girth rule or the 10-15% rule but they only feed every two weeks. How do you know when to switch from feeding every week to every two? Also is there a max size you will feed your adults. If you have a 2500 g female will you feed her a 250 g rat or stay with something smaller. Thanks.

I think most people feed adults every 5-7 days. I feed my BP's one small (60-80g) rat every 7 days.......which includes my 3500g female. It keeps them eating consistently until they stop eating during breeding season.

My 11 year old seven pound female eats halfpounders (large rats) in the summer (weekly) occasional jumbo (pounder) and mediums (~150 grammers) year round. She gets food offered weekly but it varies from year to year month to month if she feeds consistantly. In my opinion i would offer all bps weekly prey items in the warm months. If you want to go every other week or longer save that for when the temps drop. Happy herping.
