Frozen Thawed missing a B Vitamin?
I saw this video on youtube and it says feeding F/T isnt always good because freezing takes away a certain vitamin. Heres the link.

The only thing I don't agree with is the 5-10 minutes. I left a mouse in for about an hour the first time with my baby because he hadn't eaten for 2 months. It took him an hour to get it and kill it. But I supervised for the whole hour, just sat in a chair and watched.
I really don't know about that f/t thing.

Just wanted to know if anyone knew if it was true

According to the USDA's website:
"Nutrient Retention
The freezing process itself does not destroy nutrients. In meat and poultry products, there is little change in nutrient value during freezer storage."

Re: Frozen Thawed missing a B Vitamin?
Yeah, freezing shouldn't alter the presence of a vitamin. Pretty sure it's fine. Probably started by someone who wanted to feed live, and figured it sounded like a good excuse.
Not bashing live feeders, I feed live to more of my snakes, and FT to the lizards.
