In your opinion

If a snake was blue on a feeding day (Monday) and and shed out on Wednesday, would you wait until Monday to feed or feed that day?


Personally, I feel a little bad about making them wait. I'd rather have him on the same schedule and not put him off feed by feeding Wednesday and offering again Monday.


*Edit* Then again, a five day schedule isn't too bad for a guy who just went back on feed after a 10 month fast.

I always wait until the next feeding day after a shed! It won't starve or anything!

I feed no matter what.He has eaten in blue and on the same day as he shed . In fact he went blue last thursday and I feed him on fri as usual and then he shed yesterday and I feed him again I was not sure when he went in to shed the first time but I felt bad makeing him wait if he was hungry and would eat so I tried anyway and he went for it . So this time I went a head and offered agin and the same was true so I guess its worth a try if u want .

I always offer on feeding day even if they are blue, pink belly, or right in the middle of shedding. If they don't eat, offer again the following week.

I stick to my feeding schedule regardless of in blue, shed, etc. with the sole exception if I'm out of town during feed days. I offer mine when they are in blue on a feeding day too. Many still feed although some will not.

I offer the prey item. If he doesn't eat, he'll wait until feeding day. Most of mine eat in blue anyway.
