I love coco soft!

I just started using coco soft by blue iguana and so far its working great. Its holding humidity perfect my snakes love it, Also looks alot better than ASPEN.

i use the shredded coconut husk also it absorbs everything if you just mist it ever few days or so it'll keep the humidity at a prime level. Oh look its shedding time. a bit more misting and adjusting my home made vents. (flattened cereal boxes on top of the wire mesh top, more mesh less humid less mesh more humid) you can really fine tune your humidity level with very minimal effort.

i've been using it for years.....in fact it's all i use.

only downside is that it can tend to be a bit messy at time.....

ya it does but its kinda fun to play with.

Only issue i have found with it is if you don't keep it semi moist it will suck all the humidity out of the air in the enclosure.

Beware, many folks have had issues with this. Ball pythons need dry bedding, and are very prone to develop skin infections on coconut fiber beddings that have moisture in them.

Yea im keeping the bedding dry now. When i mist i do not wet up the substrate. I mist every were in the enclosure. Plus i only mist 2 times a day.

My male got a skin infection before when he was on mulch.
