    Is this a good weight?
My male ball python ate five adult mice last night (I really need to get him onto rats), and I just weighed him. He weighs 1,492 grams! I don't plan on breeding him, he is four to five feet long, and around three years old.

    Is he a good weight?

That's a big male. I say it's a very good weight. My 3 y.o is only 550g right now. He was starved by his previous owner till i got him a month ago. Went from 360g to 550g in my care so far.

    Thanks, and good luck!

Ozzy was under-fed, had scars, burns, scale rot, mouth rot, mites (those are a PAIN to get rid of), an upper respiratory infection (Baytril really helped with it!), and he was so scared and shy when I got him. I am so happy that he is fat and healthy again. :)

That's an excellent weight, and kudos to both of you for rescuing these guys.
