    A Trip Outside..
*frick.. just realized i posted in the wrong forum!*
Well, weighted my new girl and she tips the scales at 1126g!

Took her outside today for a nice trip - she really seemed to enjoy herself.

nice to see your BP enjoying the outdoor.

quick questions though, does your BP ever tried to run away? you know, like dogs do when they're out off their leash? and if it did happened, where you able to catch him/her immediately?

I took all my males at the time out for a garden outing not too long ago...nobody tried to run away and if they had, I can outpace a Ball no problem. ;) Now, the roomie's Cornsnake...we were a little paranoid about bringing him along.

Before anyone freaks out, no snake was out and in the garden with any other snake...we rotated them so only one was exploring at a time, in case there was a problem. :)

Fun fact, a reasonable sized Ball can crush the life out of a delicate bed of Impatients without even meaning to.

I was going to say. I know balls aren't exactly the most speedy snakes alive. I do know that corns and rats can be stupid fast though.

i totally agree, balls are pretty slow crawlers and they have to bend all the way back and spring forward for maximum speed. haha.

well sidewinders are different story though, they are really fast
