    Cool New Feeding Tip!!
Alright lately I've been noticing my snakes have been getting substrate in their mouthes. I know most of the time its harmless, but I can also see it being harmful. I use cypress mulch so some of the pieces can be pretty sharp, so today I tried something new. After they would strike and coil I would hold the rat with the hemostats in the air with the snake still holding on, and place a small piece of paper towel underneath and then lay the snake on top. Worked great! Only one of them decided to drag the rat all the way around the tub trying to eat it backwards. Just thought I would share this for people who have snakes that like to get substrate in their mouthes. Thanks for reading!!

I actually mentioned this exact trick on another thread on here. I've been doing it with a few of my snakes for a few months now.
