What do you consider as the hatch date?
The day their head peeks out (we cut the eggs) or the day they leave the egg?
Re: What do you consider as the hatch date?
The day the last snake leaves the egg.. is the day "to ME" that the clutch fully hatched..

The day they leave :) Technically when they poke their heads out it's called a pip. Even if you cut, they don't technically pip until their heads come out of the goo, and they breath for the first time. :)

I would say it is the day they pip! Great question! I think you will get varying options on this one!
Re: What do you consider as the hatch date?
its the day they come out of the egg. if you think about it its the same way we get the birth date for humans, if a baby head is out at 11:58pm on the 1st but is not fully out till 12:05am on the 2nd their birthday is the 2nd not the first.
Re: What do you consider as the hatch date?
On all my records I put Hatch Date : w/e day the are fully out of the egg

Nice example!
Re: What do you consider as the hatch date?
The day the last hatchling from the clutch comes completely out of the egg.
Re: What do you consider as the hatch date?
I don't bother with a specific date anymore. I just record the month.
