told by neurologist to NOT get pregnant
...cuz i'm on meds for a trembling disorder. i'm really sad cuz i wanted 1 more...little girl...but now i'm under doctor's orders to not do it.
    dammit!
my mom said to get my tubes tied but i'm scared of surgery so i'll probly go with another IUD.
i feel like i'm in mourning...for the 3rd child i'll never be able to have.
sorry for posting something as personal as this but i really need some hugs...:tears:

Don't mourn for the things you can't have..rather rejoice for the gift's God has already given you.

I'm sorry:( Sometimes healthy mourning is necessary to bring you through a difficult time in your life. I agree that it is good to be appreciative if what you have, but I also think that it's perfectly reasonable to mourn what basically is the loss of your fertility.

If expanding your family is something that you truly have a desire to do, don't forget that there are other options for doing so. My own family (and my sister's family) grew through international and foster-care adoption, and I have been helped two families grow by acting as their surrogate. Families come together in all sorts of ways:)

 You should be happy for what you have! Cherish the children you have now. If you ever really want to have a third and it's possible AND safe to get off the medication for an extended time you could try. Just don't put your life in danger just to have another child, the children you have now need their mother.

This is really personal too, but I'm 23 and may never have children. My fiance went through chemotherapy for several months and a couple surgeries. The first surgery was to remove the testicle with cancer and the second was to remove all the lymph nodes in his stomach/groin area (15-20 that sit directly on the reproductive nerves). The chemo, and the lymph node surgery lowered his chance of getting me pregnant the natural way. We have enough in the bank for three in vitros, but I also have some endometriosis that might totally ruin it for us in the end :( I'm not religious, but I would really rather not do the in vitro and I definitely won't use another man's sperm. If it's not meant to be, it's not meant to be.

Also, if you don't want an IUD, I love love love depo, but it is a little more maintenance than an IUD.

Once he see's it and gets to play with it, he'll change his mind. They are very misunderstod creatures. The first time I saw a ball python, I was just waiting for it to bite me. Lol. Then I got to hold it, now I have 10 :)

    agree on the adoption.

Could be a sign from god saying that some little girl out there needs you as a mother for love and guidance! Just consider.
