First step on my way to Super Pastels
Hey all, Couldn't wait to share. I have been looking for a GF for my Pastel boy and Jeff (Boanerges) put the perfect little girl up for sale yesterday!! We talked all day yesterday and I asked him to give me a day or two to think about it, but when I woke up this morning, it was with the thought of I can't let her go to someone else. If you look at Jeff's ad in the For Sale section, she is the third snake down. I don't even think Jeff has seen my PM or email yet this morning, :rolleye2: but I will be sure to post more pics as soon as he sends me some. I'm thinking I'm probably two years away from breeding her (whihc will give me plenty of time of learn and get needed supplies), but at least I've taken the first step toward hatchlings of my very own!!!

My boy came from Jeff and I am already super impressed with him and his animals!! If anyone ever asks me about, he will get glowing recommendations from me!! He has been a huge help, always answered all my questions and continues to be very supportive of my new addiction ;) :P :D
Can't wait to see her in person.

Re: First step on my way to Super Pastels...Pics added
Sorry it took so long to get pics up, I was at the beach yesterday and had to work today. Introducing my new '09 0.1 Lemon Pastel from Jeff (Boanerges) and hatched by Royal Q Pythons:

I did not take the pics, but they were given to me with the purchase of her and I was given permission to put my own watermark on them.

I love her pattern and awesome blushing and think she'll make a nice match for my '09 1.0 Pastel that I purchased from Jeff in May of this year.

I'm hoping for some awesome supers from these two in a couple of years.

Thanks all, for being here and sharing your wisdom and advice with those of just starting out and really wanting to do it right!! I have learned so much and skipped so many panic attacks by reading posts on here long before I brought my first BP home. You guys are awesome!!!

Congrats on your new pastel! I'm sure that you will be very impressed with the result of breeding them together. The lemons (normally) are SO bright and gorgeous!!

I'm just glad to see that you're doing it right by taking time to learn along the way and NOT rushing the animal to be ready! I see too many people just jump in and THEN start trying to figure out and get everything that they should already know and have!!

    Congrats and enjoy!!!
