Should I feed ASF to hatchling that I am selling or buy mice

I just hatched 0.1 blond pastel and 2.2 normal ball pythons from a blond pastel Male and a blond pastel female. Didnt get good odds. I will be selling the normals and just wanted to know if i should start them on AFS or go get some mice.

I always start off on mice to babies i will be selling.

Mice are easily accessible and ASF are illegal is some states.

Stick to rats or mice.

I would also say stick to rats or mice, just in case they "imprint" on the ASF because not everyone can buy them. Like here in South Jersey, ASF are extremely hard to find, but they are not illegal as of right not.

I agree with others. Use mice or rats. ASF can be hard to come by and you'll lose a large pool of buyers if you sell them as ASF feeders.

However, if they won't eat mice or rats, then yes, try ASF and label them as such.

i will go get some mice for tonights feeding.

The one hatchling I have started on ASFs so far switched to rat pups without any scenting over.
There will be the occasional picky hatchling that only wants one thing, though.

i say definatly go with mice or rats. i wouldnt buy an asf feeder unless i absolutly had to have it.

I start all of my hatchlings on asfs for 2-3 meals and then switch to large rat pinks then fuzzies and on up.

You're asking for an unhappy customer if you feed it asf. Not all people can get them, and it may only want them if you feed them first.

It's been my personal experience that hatchlings started on ASF's switch very easily to rat pups after their first 3 or 4 meals on ASF's. They don't even blink an eye (not that they can - but you get what I mean)!
