    hey,

we leave a very small bowl for the hatchlings with very small mealworms at all times but they have not touched their food yet, should we try something else?

All my hatchlings get small superworms and roaches. It will take them a few days after hatching to eat. When did they hatch? Mine usually starts eating 4 or 5 days after hatching.

In my experience it's not unusual for baby leos to go without eating the first week or so after they hatch. They are still digesting their yoke at that point so they probably wont show much interest in food. I start them out with a bowl of small mealworms around 5-7 days after hatching and they usually will start eating around then.
