1 out of 4 aint bad?

Weirdly my yb female dropped 4 eggs today, 13 days after her last shed :confused:
I certainly didn't expect this, although I did suspect there was going to be a slug fest, the eggs just felt too small inside her for the length of time she was gravid.
She laid 4 eggs with 3 certain slugs, candled and zero veins, but the one that is a boob egg has excellent veins, so hopefully it survives the incubation period.

That's a bummer...good luck with the one egg.

I picked her up from another bp.net member at 1275 grams for $250 knowing she was bred to a yellow belly, but not knowing for sure if she was gravid but suspected she was.
After her settling in I palpated 4 eggs and had high hopes but knew that she was small and young.
I bred one this size this year and I'm now glad she didn't take as she will be of appropriate size and age next season.

1 Ivory :please:

I had a YB x Albino clutch do the same thing. Four eggs laid only 24 days after POS and three were slugs. Let's hope the one egg is a Yb. Happens from time to time. Sorry and hope everything else works out.

YB would be acceptable, heck at this point if it lives it will be acceptable, lol.

Thanks, it is what it is I guess, I really bought the female to breed next year so anything from her is a bonus :)
