Recommendation for Ball Python breeding book?
So I've been wanting to learn more about breeding ball pythons and the genetics involved to produce different forms, I don't care about the price, what's the best book for me if I want to learn everything so I can breed one day?

    Hi,

    There's a few.

For general great info on how to keep the animals and breed them then either the book from VPI ( Pythons of the world part II - ball pythons ) or the complete ball bython by NERD.

If you then want to see what morphs have been made along with their ingredients then John Berry just released a new version of his designer morphs book.

I have both VPI and Nerds books. Nothing against kevin's book but the VPI's book has alot more info and is the better of the 2 in my opinion(is more expensive though) but certainly worth every penny...

I have read both of them as well, and I also highly recommend the VPI book. Though the Complete Ball Python is also an excellent book.

I own the Ball Pythons book by Collete Sutherland and its very good as a "pet store" book goes.

Wow. These books are really expensive. Does anyone know a good DVD because they seem to go for lot less? There is a catch though, I need caption/subtitle because I'm deaf.

I am mostly interested in reading about breeding and the steps I need to take once the eggs are laid.

I would say use the search bar here on bp.net. It's got all the info plus more if you ask your own questions. Tough to ask books questions if you ask me.
