Nergal :)
Nergal is my new ball python, he is about 6 months old. We (unfortunately) bought him from Petco, but he is very, very sweet and cuddly. (Don't forget lazy!)
He is our second snake, our first is a corn snake named Cheesecake.
Here are some pictures of my male snakey:

Re: Nergal :)
If I exceeded bandwidth or anything, please know I'm new to Photobucket and using their links, etc. so please tell me how to fix it if you can, and I will immediately remove the photo violating the rules (whether I receive advice on how to fix it or not). Thank you.

Re: Nergal :)
Nothing wrong with petco pythons. I'm going to have to keep preaching this aren't I? So I don't know if mine is a pure line breeder...Who cares haha. I'm not planning on breeding her, I just know she's healthy and a good looking snake.
Your snake looks good, enjoy and keep it healthy and there should be no problems.

I don't have a problem not knowing the genetics or anything, I just don't like how they apparently import wild snakes a lot. :(

I believe they purchase farm raised babies from a large importer?
The petsmarts and petco's here have captive hatch babies, somebody is importing the females gravid and clutching them at a farm, I don't think it's the pet stores though

Re: Nergal :)
Such a cutie-pie! :) And hey, as long as your snake is healthy and happy, it doesn't matter where he came from... has he eaten for you yet?

Re: Nergal :)
He has eaten twice since we got him. It's amazing! He's a much...uh...well, my corn snake is a more feminine eater than him. He takes his time and clamps on his food, whereas Cheesecake, my corn snake, eats it quick and quiet.
But, he is amazing. I love to snuggle him and he is forever my favorite neckalce. (:
