Shedding Problems

So my ball python is only about 1 ft and half long and I have had him for 3 weeks and fed him 2 live feeders. He has been in the shedding phase for about 2 weeks now and I am starting to get impatient with him.

I have done the "Bad Shed?" technique with the hour soak and let him move through the wet towel but I dont seem to be getting much skin off. I have done this technique TWICE over the past 2 days. I am always finding little bits of skin in his enclosure and I can clearly skin trying to come off his body.

Any tips? Humidity in his enclosure is also 88%.

Just give it time. What's your set up like? Do you have a heat lamp? Humid hide?

I have a tub set up with paper towels. A regular human heating pad on the warm side and a water bowl on the cold side. The hide I am using at the moment is a old cereal bar box.

Human heating pads get very hot, how are you measuring your temps?
I tested a human heat pad recently as I caught a friend using one, on low setting it was 104 degrees, he freaked.

If the snake is in shed move the water over the heat, it will help the snake through the shed cycle.

Make sure your not overheating your tub ;)

I have a digital thermoter above his hot area. I guess I will lower it to test the ground temperature. I tried puting a wet paper towel under his hide, but the enclosure got reeeeally moist and looked almost has if it would be hard to breathe in there. Maybe I need more holes. I have 6 dime sized at the moment.
