    Rack heat question
I am about to buy a combo rack from Animal Plastics that holds 15qt tubs as well as 32qt tubs. When they put the flexwatt on these I assume it runs longways across each shelf....so the 15qt tubs will have heat at one end and cool at the other end...but the 32qt tubs will have heat running along one of the long sides of the tub rather than at the end. Does this allow for a proper heat gradient in the 32qt tubs? It seems like the cool side might run too hot since it is so close to the hot side.

Here is a stock pic of the rack from the Animal Plastics website to help everyone visualize what I am babbling about...

yes it will provide a gradient. As long as once side isnt heated you have a gradient.

I've always wondered this myself, but it seems it works, I just dont like the amount of light that gets into the 32qts as I prefer deep racks.

Not the greatest design, but I guess it works, they sell a lot of these racks!
