Pastel lines?
Okay...Im just now learning about pastels...now that I happened upon one for my collection:), Im reading on them and finding that there are different lines of the morph...graziani etc...my question here is, how do you know which line you own? Is there a way to tell??

Re: Pastel lines?
Unless it's purchased as a particular line, and the breeder knows what line it comes from, you can't be 100% sure. I have two lemon pastels (2nd and 3rd generations removed from a NERD lemon), and I have a beautiful pastel, from unknown lineage.

Re: Pastel lines?
If it looks like a lemon and produces lemons, you can say that you're unsure on the lineage but it looks like ____

okay. I just thought that there was something unique to each line that the more experienced folks know to look for that would tell them. Im not really that concerned for my pastel. Just curious;).

Re: Pastel lines?
They are all the same. Just find one you like. The "lines" are irrelevant at this point IMO.

Eh I wouldnt consider them "the same" I mean look at vanillas and compare them to a jungle. Each line seems to have distinct traits that characterize them.
I could be wrong about Vanillas, I was under the impression they were a type of pastel, but they may be a distinct trait.
Anyway, Lemons, Blondes, Jungles, Zebras, etc. They all have that special something to them.

A Vanilla is not a pastel. It is a completely different morph.

I completely agree, heck it's probably closer to 99.99% :P
Disregard the lines, and buy a very nice-looking one with great yellows and blushing.
