for sure an interesting normal to boggle the mind.
so i have had her for a while now.
everytime she sheds, something new pops out. another blotch of yellow in a different little ghost(alien whatever)

then her neck shed turned bright yellow.
    her sides turned VERY white/yellow,

and weird white/yellows along her sides some high some low. check it out.

sorry for a little blur(no camera but on my fone.)

her ghost blotch (theres 2 more along her body but she didnt want to sit still anymore.)

Unfortunately that's a natural phenomenon that happens from time to time. Not sure what the cause is, but it strips the normal color and leaves, typically, a nice yellow color behind. I've read about several snakes, like yours, and followed their progress. They eventually shed back to normal.

Very cool though! Enjoy her and take lots of pictures while you can!

Yeah, they can go through natural abnormalities like that. And it seems like she didnt have a good shed in the past, if they was a consitent problem then I think that could have contributed to the strange coloring.

no when i first got her she was in shed but it wasn't a good one. after that she has had nothing but good solid sheds.

she lives in a critter condo and has perfect heat and humidity.

well i figued she had somthing odd going on. but really i think its just getting more and more yellow. i know for sure its nothing that would get past down to her young(future anyways) but im sure she will continue to change color as she matures. she's only 1250grams right now and consistantly getting brighter and more beautiful. i love her for it.

I've heard a few theories, nutritional deficiencies, some sort of color gene abnormality, or just some gene issue. Your snake is healthy, it's not because you haven't been taking care of her, it's just something weird going on with her. Don't worry about it and enjoy her while it lasts!

    oh im not worried!
    yeah she's very healthy
her wieght, and size, eating, temperment. all perfect,

i just want to find out if any other normals have a wierd yellowing going on.

because srsly i think it might be an abnormality that could possibly be a gene that isnt even a real gene. just a mutation that occurs through the snakes life.

since most normals are selled as normals that popped outta morph clutchs

maybe some get out that are normals at birth that because of the mutaion breeding,

have a weird color changing phase in life.

just my own assumption but, hey kinda makes sence.

    i think?
