1st clutch newbie question

One of my eggs pipped today at day 54 and I cut the two other eggs. One of the snakes in the other eggs was moving when I touched it and the other one I cut the snake didn't move. All looks good, but is this common for the babies not to move when touched? The one that pipped has his head out and moves when touched so he is fine just curious about the other two.

Mike, no movement usually means dead.
Quit touching them though and let them come out on their own.
What temp were you incubating at?

they are at 88.5- 89 F.

I just had my first clutch cut a couple of days ago too :)

I notice there should be movement but not like you think. They usually remain in the position there in for a bit, and just squirm slightly. I notice when I leave them for a while and come back I notice them in a different position. So to answer your question yes there should be movement, but don't expect lots of it.

What needs to be done if anything or will it take care of itself?

the remaining cord will fall off on its own in a day or so. Just put in a tub on wet paper towels till they shed and your find.
