    Egg Bound?
How do I know if a female is egg bound? I have one female who is looking like she is going to blow for almost two months now. I stopped pairing her with a male in early march. I have a few other females who havn't laid yet either but this is the only one that really looks pregnant. All my other females laid 50+ days ago.

When should I start getting concerned, and what should I look for?

Do you keep good breeding records?
    Did you witness an ovulation?
    Did you witness a POS?
If you answered no to those questions, likely she's just fat and not gravid at all.
    Good luck though.

thanks, this is my first breeding season so I admittly have a learning curve.

I do keep good breeding records.

    Witness ovulation? Not sure

POS? whats that? I did witness her getting it on with the male on multiple occasions.

Ive watched videos on how to feel for eggs and Im pretty sure I feel them in there, but again I have little experience in this department.

Also she seems to be exhibiting pregnant behavior. Glowing, water dish hugging, not eating. (she did eat a small rat two months ago)

POS = Post Ovulation Shed. This link may help you determine where in the process that she is:
