$1 per gallon sale + reptile sale at petco

Any one else take advantage of this sale like I did? I got 3 40 breeders 5 20 longs and a bunch of crested geckos that were half off- plus employee discount. we also had pastel balls half off but of course they were all males or I woulda got them too lol would have been about 70 a piece.

I got my 20L from there. They had pastels at that store? I'm jealous as hell.

I got two 40 G breeders. I made a thread about it a couple weeks ago when the sale started. Looks like you're going to have a nice display set up. Make sure you update us with pics!

lol I needto find replacement lids for my reptile tanks. sadly I also broke so Icould not get any . ( not that I need any ) I just need 3-4 tops parts. ( or at least that heavy screen ( can't find it locally) not bad price for reptile stuff.

Yea we get a crack at alot of cool stuff u'd never expect to see at a petco i get to see the order list and put in orders so i get all the good stuff.

Yeah I dont usually go to petco but had to run in and pick up something and seen the sale picked up 2 - 40g breeders couldn't pass that deal up lol...

is this still going on??? and for how long

was going to get a tank when i was in Michigan for family stuff but low and behold if you aint a petco club member the tanks cost more if rember right could of joined and saved 5 bucks on a 10 gallon tank but cost of membership made it to where i would of paid more.

really funny part was petco in MI don't know how to sex mice i had to give them the run down on how to sex them. got 10 supposedly female mice got back to where i was staying at and low and behold balls everywhere all but 1 was male and they took them out of the tank that said females so called the store up and asked what happened they said bring them back and they would swap them out so 45 minutes of sorting mice they finally came up with 10 females guy thanked me for teaching them how to sex the mice they were going by spacing of something i told them just go by if you see nipples from front to back its female (I've yet to see a male that had 10 nipples) got all the way home mice are in quarantine cage and still no balls showing (well other then 2 mice that look like wild mice but i picked those just for that reason to add some new vigor to my mice)

needless to say the store manager wasn't happy with the person they were getting there mice from as they had a 20 gallon long of what was suppose to be females and got only 10 females out of a cage full there was at least 50 to 60 mice in it. before i left he asked if he could use one of my females i bought to show what to look for from now on when people ask for female mice

but it was really clear even the store manager didn't know what to look for as he opened my box of mainly males and asked what the problem was and all their balls were hanging and the receipt he was looking at said females
