    Outgrown Hides
    Hey guys/gals

When changing your hides when they are out grown, do you then give your Bp's time to adjust to the change in their environment?

I usually give my snake about a week to adjust to the new changes. If I see any stress I just put the old hides back in the enclosure. Some snakes like to wear their hides like a hat.

Yeah, I think it might be time. When Merlin goes it and tries to get adjusted into a comfortable position, he is actually lifting the hide.

I just swapped hides 2 days ago. Bp was outgrowing the RBI hides. So i took em out washed them up real good. And gave em to my baby boa. He is in them hiding. Just like normal and gave my bp some new ones. He took a few hrs of laying outside it before he figured out he cld hide in them. Been in them past 2 days xD

Shows no sign of stress just hides in his new hides all day :taz: took maybe 4 hrs

Btw the new hides for my bp are still a bit small. When he goes in it.. He sorta wears it as a hat. I found when he was younger he like hides he could wear as a hat over ones he could fit in. He didnt really use hides he could fit in as much as ones he could wear on top of him xD
