    One good thing....
    In Maryland it has been really hot and humid. I realised the one good thing has been my ball had a wonderful, no problem shed. lol. He usually has a good shed but now it seems to be much better, if that makes sense. I keep the window open in the basement for him in the summer. I just have to keep an eye on the temp but besides that he is loving this humid, hot summer.

    What is he being housed in?

    You shouldn't have to rely on the weather for a perfect shed. There are ways to bump up humidity. Switch substrates, add a plexi glass sheet over 3/4(maybe less depending) of the tank, foil, and saran wrap all work good at bumping up humidity.
