My New Nics

Well, here they are! I picked them up yesterday, 1.2 Pastel Nicaraguan Red Tail Boas.

The calmest of the three shed last night and just has fantastic coloring.

Naming the male Phoenix, one of the females Nic (Nikki), any ideas as for the other female?

They are all beautiful!!! Sorry I am of no help with a name tough :(

Haha its ok. I was tossing around the name Izzy today, but I don't know if I like it. I'll figure one out soon enough.

I can't believe how little they are, I don't think any of my other snakes were ever that small haha. And they're little stinkers, already terrorizing their "territory". I have fake fern leaves that are suction cupped to the back of the tank for a nice 3D looking background, and they're convinced that these are meant to be used as perches and attempt to climb up into them and end up pulling it all down.

Well, since the males name is Phoenix, you could name the females Sedona and Arizona...

Do you have them quarantined away from the rest of your collection?

Yes sir, quarantened in a seperate room. And they get fed / handled / cared for last just in case.

Had them all sexed today to know who is who.

So, Baby A and Baby C are the two females and Baby B is my male.

Names are as follows:
Baby B (male) = Phoenix
Baby A (female) = Talon
Baby C (female) = Sasha (she's a little B!%&#)

Beautiful babies! One of em has an attitude huh? Well one out 3 isn't bad lol better than all 3 being lil devils

She has an attitude like no other, makes me laugh, she looks like an angry kitten.

Phoenix gets a little cranky, but he's mellowing out nicely, and I'm sure Sasha will mellow out, she's already mellowed a considerable amount since I brought her home.

Lol yea its great when something small acts big and bad and thinks he/she can hurt ya. Bet you can't wait till they all are 100% calm then you can take em out and really love up on em

Yeah I can't wait for them to mellow out some more. But from what I've been reading some Nics are really... sassy.

She'll probably always be a little witch, but I can deal with that haha.
