Clutch #3 of 2010.. Last clutch for me this year.
Well this clutch signals the end of the 2010 breeding season for me. I still have to wait on these babies to hatch, but in terms of females laying eggs... I'm done. This is my biggest clutch to date, with 8 beautiful healthy eggs. Last year my biggest was 6 eggs and this year I started with two 7 egg clutches. They seem to be getting bigger... which I'm taking as a good thing. My egg count last year was 6 eggs, 0 slugs. This year I had 22 eggs, 0 slugs. I'm pretty excited about still having no slugs. It must be something in the water *wink*.
