    black milksnakes?
    so theyre red yellow and black at first, and they turn solid black later?
    how much would they cost at an expo! im getting one for sure!:D

    No, the black milksnake is it's own species. It does start as a tricolor then turns black with age. They're also one of the largest milk snakes. No idea how much they go for but they're really cool.

    nelson's milk snake are pretty and stay about that size.

    Wikipedia shows and describes most of the 25 sub species..I'd say a Sinaloan would be your best bet as a pet goes...The black milk is the only one that changes to any degree, Some devolop more intense colors as they age but no drastic changes..
