I think an often asked question: Is my bp too skinny?
I got my bp a couple of weeks ago and he's been a great feeder on f/t and he shed for me 2 days ago. But from looking at the pics here I think he's still a bit too skinny. He's about a month and half and I feed him every 5 days on rat pups, well his last meal was a rat pup about the size of his widest mid section, the ones before that were mice fuzzies, so is he too skinny? If so should I feed bigger or more or what should I do? I don't have a scale so I can't weigh him...Thanks!

The fat you see on a lot of ball pythons is from never missing a meal since birth, plus they've probably been recently fed and still have some mouse meat being digested. Your snake looks fine and I betchya in a year or so, if he's a good eater, he'll be looking like a lot of those hefty balls you see posted all over the place. ;)

He looks fine, although a fuzzy mouse is too small for him. Glad to hear you got him to eat something a little bigger. Keep up the good work.:gj:
