Question about PASTEL Ball Python

I have a ball python that is supposibly a pastel. She has a yellow, almost gold like color. My question is how do you know for sure if your ball python is truly a pastel? From what I have read on here bp's can look like pastels but not actually be pastels(?). She has a little brown on her but for the most part she is bright yellow/gold. Is she a pastel?

I will post pics as soon as I can.

cant hardly help without pics...... pastels have a lot of blushing on the head particularly.... if the black on the head is faded, belly is solid white (no specks) and the yellow especially toward the belly is brite(not gold YELLOW) It is a pastel.... post pics and we can be the judge and jury LOL

Without decent pics it's impossible to say.

One way is to check eye color- pastels have green/greenish eyes, what color are your snake's eyes?
They also have the traits described above.

I've heard pastels have yellow eyes.

No offense, but I'm beginning to think a lot of people here really don't know what they are talking about, and will read one post with one statement and base their advice on that heresay. I'm not saying you are wrong, but obviously someone isn't right.

correction, if it is a pastel it should have greenish colored eyes
