albino eyes are crazy! and i was also wondering. do boas have heat pits and a jacobsons organ? i see nostrils but dnt think those are pits. how do they hunt if they dont have heat sensors?

Most boas dont have the heat pits that you see in pythons. Though some tree boas such as the emerald and amazons do have heat pits. They do have a jacobson's organ. I dont know of a species off hand that doesn't have a jacobsons organ. As far as hunting, they use their tongue to retrieve chemiclals in the air. Certain things such as a rat will give off a certain "scent".

And thanks for the compliments guys.

The jacobson's organ only deals with chemical signals. The heat pits on the upper lip of pythons and some boas detects the differences in heat signatures. Hope this helps.

His body is a little more yellow than the pics show. Its incredibly hard to get his colors right. That being said his head is very white and im hoping it continues down his body with each shed. :D

And he is a kahl strain. With albinos its kind of hit and miss. They can be pretty variable. From holding more orange in the saddles and tail to being completely yellow to a really light yellow.
