Ok guys I have been around for a long time. I started out being a young kid with my Hognoses, then I graduated to Bearded Dragons and Blood pythons. I got bored and started breeding RTB morphz and through it all I never trusted a soul I kept to myself and bred my snakes and was a loaner.
I met Liza in 06 and she was not a snake person which was fine I was taking a break from them as well. She slowly let me get some herps, we started with a Uro for her a Sav monitor for me. Then she let be get a few boas and when I told her the stories of how they drop live litters and how I would need her help she was not for it. She did some research and found that in the space I was keeping 9 adult boas we could keep 30 BP's and thats where the change started.
We picked up our first BP in Dec. 07, it was a very hot little Albino boy. It kinda snowballed after that. In the mist of moving out all my boa morphz and what few Albino bloods I had and acquiring a small collection of BP's, I needed a place that was more directed to BP's. I was a member on many forums but manly stuck to Fauna and RTB.net. I asked a young LADY named Heather Wong (you may have heard of her lol) I had grown to like on Fauna if she knew of a forum for BP owners and she directed me to BP.net.
Through my friendship with Heather I became friends with more enthusiasts like myself. I became more friendly and less of a loaner. I contributed more and learned everything I could. I found that being in this hobby self promotion is key and I was never helping myself by lurking and being untrusting.
Fast forward to Late June 08 I go to my first show as a BP keeper. I meet my first BP.neters Pat Long and his lovely girlfriend Lydia Sanchez. I then finally get to meet Heather after talking to her so much on the forums. It was then that I realized that surrounding myself with great people I would continue to be the best person I can be, not just n this hobby but in life in general.
I have to thank this site and its member and the people close to me for helping me realize that not everyone is out to get me and not everyone i a bad guy. I guess that is why I choose BP.Net as my home. Thank you all for the help in being a better man.
