    Problem With My Eggs :(
Ok so i have posed about this before, but after closer inspection of my eggs ive noticed that not only one, but a few of my eggs are not completely filled with a snake (judging by where the dark spot is) I have been incubating at 89 degrees through the whole incubation period and it is already day 49. This is my first clutch and im kinda worried. Any advice/input?

lol relax and leave the damn things alone! :P haha. if you candle, you wont always see pattern next to the egg wall.

your candling of the eggs can cause more damage than you think if you keep doing it , cuzz the temp in ur incubator will be changing.

its hard but ya just gotta chill, and let nature do its thing. stop candling the eggs.. and wait for a pip!

In the early part of incubation, there's a lot of forming and differentiating various organs and systems in the embryo's body. You would be surprised how late in incubation actual rapid growth occurs. The difference in size in just a few days when a snake is absorbing the egg yolk is amazing. When the snake pips, a lot of that yolk is still there--in just a day or so, it all winds up inside the snake instead of outside. The yolk sack is often huge when the snake pips.

Also keep in mind that snakes will develop in their own time--yours MIGHT not pip until day 65! I've had clutches hatch up to a week before or after the 60 day mark...at the same exact incubation temperatures.
