cutting early/ leaving egg time?
i no what every one will say why cut so early but i did. i had them cooking at 89 deg. and cut at day 46 its now day 56 and still no heads out or any thing. just wondering if any one has had this happen. or if it was because they were my first clutch and i messed with them alot to make sure every thing was dead on? any info would be great
Re: cutting early/ leaving egg time?
open them up & poke them if they move they are alive,if not you cut to early & killed them.cut a big slit now to see.
Re: cutting early/ leaving egg time?
They're probably fine so long as you kept the container plenty of moist so the membranes and insides in the eggs didn't dry out. Day 46 is way too early to cut though, next time wait a while longer if you're going to cut.

ya they all still move alot and i keep some water in there with them to make sur no one dry's up just dont get why no one is looking around yet lol or out

Every clutch is different. No one is going to be able to tell you why they haven't pipped or when they are going to. Too many variables at play. As long as they are moving, just have patience. They will pip. My last clutch didn't pip until Day 58 after the ones before it all pipping no later than Day 56. Why? No idea. Just let them do their thing.
And yeah, what they said about cutting too early.
