    not very happy
I had my first clutch laid (just normals), was seven eggs. 2 slugs, 2 infertile, and 3 that candled good. Day 55 I cut and the next day I had 2 little head poking out and the third had not moved so I checked on it and it was not alive. The day after that one baby was completely out and is now set up in its own tub and doing good. Today I went to check on the last one and it had pulled its head back in so I poked it alittle and no movement. I put it back and checked it agian tonight and nothing. Still in the same position...I'm pretty sure it is not alive. I have no idea what happened, it just sucks

Things do suck sometimes, some of my friends are turning really bad odds on their first couple of clutches of the season but thats how this game goes you win some and then lose some

yeah I guess I'm learning this the hard way. I was just hoping that my first clutch would go a little bit better then this. Now I just pray that the one that made it is a female.

first two clutches here were 5 eggs ( 1 infertile, one super deformed baby ) and 7 eggs ( 1 infertile, and another super deformed baby ) and all teh ones that did hatch were normals, even tho the 5 clutch was paired with a pastel and mojave, and the 7 clutch was paired with a pastel and i think a normal before i got her. just hoping the rest of the clutches make up for it

Yeah, that does stink. Hopefully next year you will get a lot of good fertile eggs, hatching into nice little plump babies. That would make up for this year :) Good Luck!

Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately stuff like that just happens. In my experience things tend to even out though over the long term. I've had years where most clutches went bad, or I had lots die in egg, and then the following year all fertil clutches with great odds.

Just stick with it and don't get discouraged!

Thank you. I think if all of them hadn't made it I may have gotten a little discouraged. But there is nothing like opening that tub and seeing a little baby in there.
