time getting close and a small problem

ok my eggs in my first planned clutch are due to hatch this coming week( on/around the 22.) I been keeping a close eye on them checking morning an evening. mainly to remove any sign of mold since there been a couple spots that form in the one clutch. ( on those boob/window sections ) well my niece startled me and I dropped the lid against hte eggs( which I yelled at her for just barging into the room at a run.) I took a closer look at one egg ( these guys are dimpling pretty good now) and I see that the corner of the lid (which I drawn blood on before) has made a small nick into the egg. I worry about possible injury to the snake inside. the egg was still pretty fluid filled. but it seeping just enough thatI seen it. I worry of any possible issues that can occur for the next week, and any ideals on what to do . I can see the snake if I shine the light into the egg ( no bloody looking spots) but that about it. I had plann on nipping the eggs Come monday afternoon to my niece and nephew what they look like but now I may just use the one egg so I can do a better check on it. it tilted ( attached almost standing up ) so it most lieky I got a lucky break and the top only filled with extra moisture.

I was also wondering would it be ok to just leave the lids off now ( i keep the humidity up to about 85%( by the digital read out I getting from an vics temp/humidity gauge) and I know I have considation on the inside of the tubs all the time.( one reason I keep opening to wipe it off ) they still stay inthoe incubator and will be checked at least 2-3 time a day if the lid left off I would be in better shape to check on them with out moving ( or droping something on them ).

I also don't have much to worry about since the other clutch is about a week behind the first. ( and escapes wouldonly happen if they can teleport themselves.) I can try to get pictures tomorrow if that help but i will most likey have cut a cap on top to inspect the egg better.

it is close to hatching so i think it will be ok, but just to be safe, ive herd of people putting Band-Aids on eggs, even really early into incubation and the eggs still hatching fine.

Okay, the spot is fine... as long as you didn't rupture a vital vessel, it should be fine.

DO NOT leave the top off in the tub. The eggs will dry out. Leave the tub top on, but take off any sealant (press and seal, etc).

Then, just wait it out.

sealant been off for the entire time. as for the lids I was only wonder since i kee pth humidity high in the incubator as well.

well I going to say I luckier than I ever though the egg in question doing great. Outside the small V shaped hole on the top I can see no marks of visible damage to the snake inside ( what I can see). I stil lcan't tell what it is morph wise lol. I see a some black and really light color ( hate this I like to know if it possible the butter or th pastel the father lol)

but I guess were the eggs are really plump from the higher humidity I lucked out. Compared to that unplanned clutch acouple years back lol..

lol and I know you be the first in line with mutli texts that day I know. yeah i need a few morph females and 1 male pied for 2 years from now lol..

well so far so good. Thursday day 55. I watched the little guy a couple times aa day and he doing great. I even statting to see the tongue flicker around some this evening. all the egg are now pulled apart and feel like soft paper ( tolit paper might be stiffer) I was so tempedto nip each egg tomorrow while my niece and nephew are around and will miss the actually hatching ( i may too since I got a crap load of grass to cut once i replace this one belt on the mower. but I might have to hold off another2-3 dayssince the veins are stil really big and visible when I shine the light ( I could cut around them but won't risjk it) this one egg has worried me enough.
