Clutch 2 peeping

I cut this clutch on day 53 and today is day 55 three of the babies have peeped their heads out so far.

I can't wait for them to come out since it is hard for me to tell what they are in the egg. It looks to me like we have 1 SKL axanthic, 1 poss het ska and 3 pastels poss het ska's. I am hoping that one of the pastels is a super but only time will tell.

This was our only chance of producing super pastel axanthics this year. The pairing was pastel het to pastel het.

Okay Here they are! Well actually they crawled out on the 14th but I was working and then yesterday I surfed :oops: so I just took the pics today.

Anyway here they are, 0.1 SKA, 0.1 Normal 66% het SKA, 0.1 Pastel 66% het SKA, 2.0 Pastel 66% het SKA

I am super happy that the axanthic is a female. This will bring our collection to 2 axanthic females and 1 pastel axantic female:banana::banana:.

I'm working with a few VPI Axanthic projects but this season I had to be satisfied with only a clutch of hets. Actually they are due to hatch in 10 days or so.

This year I'm breeding him to a few other girls!

Hets are great. Our entire axanthic project started with one male pastel het SKA!
