Using deli cups for water dishes
I'd really like to start using disposable deli cups for water dishes as I've seen in some professional breeder's setups. I hate cleaning out water dishes and it's really gross when my snakes poop in them (It doesn't happen a lot, but a few times is enough). I'd rather just toss a plastic deli cup instead of wash a bowl in my dishwasher.
My question is where can I find them? I went to my local Costco and they only had 2 oz soufflé cups. I have a Sam's Club nearby but don't have a membership so I can't check there. Any other ideas as to where to pick them up?
Re: Using deli cups for water dishes
Gordon Food Service has them. Otherwise You liely would have to order them online.

I get mine from a place called Tri-City Paper near my house...
Re: Using deli cups for water dishes
I get mine online from superior enterprises. Good prices, cheap/fast shipping, too.

Thanks for the replies. I'll start my online search. :)
Re: Using deli cups for water dishes
How do you keep them from tipping them over. I have a huge stone dish in my big girls tub, and now that she can't tip it over she manages to push her paper towels into it. Ugh. I swear she does it on purpose so she gets to come out.
Re: Using deli cups for water dishes
One other question. What size cups do you use for adult snakes? I was thinking 16oz ones.
Re: Using deli cups for water dishes
The people to talk to are the restaurants and deli's. They could probably help you best. Call them up and ask around. I use the 8" bowls I get when I order chinese food for both hides and bowls. AND they're dishwasher safe so you just rinse off the feces and throw them in the dishwasher.
Re: Using deli cups for water dishes
I order the 8oz deli cups from Superior. I use the 4" pvc connectors that I buy at Lowe's for $1.60 each. They leave about 2" of room for my BP's to climb up and get a drink. I put about 4-6oz of water in each cup. When I change water, I take out the old deli cup, put the new one in, pour the water in and I am done. If my snake did not poop in the water, then I just clean it out with mild soap and use them again. It is convenient and "green."
