    Reptiles express shipping
Has anyone used these guys yet. They ship via UPS so I was wondering if you could still ship snakes with them? Since SYR had issues and UPS told them snakes couldn't be shipped and it is part of UPS policy to not allow shipping of snakes. Fedex is a major pain to get certified and this seems like a better and cheaper option if it's legit.

    Thanks

I'm in the process of registering, and I'm not sure they are shipping yet, just getting set up, but I may be wrong

I already got set up and approved. I think they are currently shipping. When I logged on to my account it gave me the options to print shipping labels. I guess I will call them next week and make sure it is OK to ship snakes. From what I have read you can ship snakes you just need to have a copy of their waiver.

With services like this popping up and with SYR getting shut down for the time being....

Im sure its only a matter of time until others get shut down as well.

    Use this service for now....

They are completely approved to ship snakes through UPS, and it says so right on their waiver. They also got permission to modify their labels, which now STATE that they have a waiver to ship snakes.

That having been said--absolutely, get Fed Ex certified. While this company is around, for those who are in areas where UPS isn't awful, UPS is certainly cheaper. But it's always a good idea to have a backup plan, particularly considering the history of this sort of thing.

(SYR is still shipping reptiles, just not snakes).
