Re: Boob egg hatchling questions
it hard to say I started force feeding/assist feeding my one htchlnig ( non boob egg) once she lost about 1/3 of her total hatching weight. inyour case I say I be more inclinde to force feed once it lost about 1/4 or about 5 grams being snake the little guy won't have much fat or stored energy. I also start with a smaller preay maybe a fuzzy mouse or so ( don't want to force too large a prey into it. )
With mine I had to do it about 3 times then she just went nuts and tried to eat everything that moved in her tub ( including fingers and my nose when I was checking on her one time holding up to the lightosee her better lol..

lol so another word you created a monster lol thanks for the advice. im gonna go weigh him now and see if hes lost anything yet. i just weighed him hes lost 2 grams so far. Anyone else have any tips or advice? also info on the best way to assist feed would be helpful as well.
Re: Boob egg hatchling questions
try feeding him now and something live and a little smaller than the others ate. don't handle him until he eats. i had hatchlings eat before they shed. leave the food in with him a little while. if he don't eat or the fuzzy isn't movig much, try dancing it in front of him with some long tweeters on stats. if he strikes but don't coil it, it shouldn't be long until he does. if he shys away, he might need help getting started. good luck don
