    Egg Incubator Tubs
    I've noticed that a lot of people put their ball python eggs (and many other snake eggs, but I am using this for a ball python reference) in tubs.

    But no one actually says what size tub they use.

    So, what size tub do you use for your ball pythons eggs?

    If you could help at all, that would be fantastic!

    * Bonus Question
    (first answer to this question gets a cyber cookie)

    Would a 6.5 or 7 quart tub for okay for a hatchling ball python?

    6.5/7 would be fine, anything up to a 12 quart would be fine after that you're looking at it being too large for the snake (if you follow general advice).

    One sec let me find Ralph's egg tub videos

    I use 6qt sterilite locking tubs for normal size clutches and have a few 15qt tubs sitting by for larger clutches should that need arise.
    Tub, light diffuser, vermiculite, water, eggs, and place in oven for 52 days :P

    **bonus question...6qt tubs work great for hatchlings

    Now I cant edit my post ~_~

    The first little chunk of my other post was in response to the bonus question, the second part was about the eggs.

    As for egg tub size 6 or 12, depending on the size of the clutch (personally I wouldnt separate eggs).

    i using a pair of 10 qt tubs ( i think) theywere only like bucks t walmart. they hada handle on top I removed it and cover the holes up wit htape until about 3 weeks to go ) but then I drill one single 1/4 in hole or so in one side. and pop the tope every few days.

    First clutch due the 22 and the other on 29.. that right a week apart lol.. I got an old coke machine and converted it to a incutbator ( still had all it frig guts ) was told given a shot of coolent it might work right again. I may try that after the eggs hatch then I can keep beer or colo cold and on hand when not incubating eggs.
