    Rosy Boa help
I have been the unfortunate recipient of a trade deal gone bad.

I have a Coastal Rosy that has some health issues. At first, mites. She was appropriately sprayed with an anti-mite solution and during that time, it refused any food offered for a month. It took about 30 days to completely get rid of its mite problem and he is now free and clear since 5/03/2010.

He fed normally every 7-10 days since. Slowly gaining his normal weight back up. He is an adult and currently at 126g, dry weight (no meal).

He then had a difficult time shedding completely, despite daily spraying and increased humidity in his tub home. He finally shed on 6/28/2010, 5 days after blue-eye.

After his shed, he was offered 2 f/t pinky rats which he did not take until I split their skulls. I am now wondering if that may have been a little too much? Today on 7/05/2010 he regurgitated.

Any help, advice, tips is appreciated. I would like to bring him back to health. Perhaps switch him back to a mice diet? How long should I wait to offer him another?

SAD, I myself am SOO against the use of chemicals when it comes to treatment of mites on snakes..I would have suggested soaking it in water to kill/drown any harboring mites and hydrate..Then being a rosy I would have set it up in a VERY dry habitat without water for 2 weeks..( rosies have been maintained without water for extended periods) Mites also desicate (dry up) and gone from there..2 food items may have been too much for the creature, hopefully it wasn't poisioned by the use of chemicals..Additional info would be of help..:snake:

Water bowl is very shallow, I have been advised to remove it due to humidity reasons and others have suggested to keep water at all times... so there he is.
