    egg getting soft early?
ok I check my eggs every week, I happen to touch them today and they seem tobe getting softer than they have been, the clutch in question is about 3 weeks away from hatching> been kept at 88-89 degreed for the most part with a single day they got to 91( due a weekend with no AC)

So I was wondering about soon do the eggs usually start to soften up before they hatch?? this is the first time with a planned clutches so I want to keep an eye on them . I also seen thatone or 3 getting a black shadow/stain on the outside of the egg shell ? I going to spend the night rereading the complete ball python book and see if I can refresh my memory.

About 2 weeks or so. I don't think you have anything to worry about. I actually can't wait till they get soft, it tells me it's almost time!!
